Have you ever wondered what is the deadliest animal in the world? You might have given a variety of answers ranging from snakes to sharks, or perhaps the alligator? In actual fact, the deadliest animal in the world is the mosquito! It might seem impossible that something so miniscule can kill so many people but it’s true. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), mosquito bites result in the deaths of more than 1 million people every year.
This fact, and many more practical tips and easy to-apply solutions, is just one of the insights that you can get from the Bayer Dengue Learning Lab
which is available free of charge to the general public. Due to the rising spread of dengue and Zika virus, the Dengue Learning Lab was on display at the Bayer booth for participants to understand more about the disease and what people can do to prevent mosquito-borne diseases.
